Evological has released EvoCam 3.6.2, an update to the ultimate webcam software for Mac OS X. Use EvoCam to publish a webcam with streaming video, view and record video from network cameras and video servers, create timelapse movies, or use it as part of your home security system with its configurable motion sensors - these are just a few of the things you can do with this easy-to-use yet incredibly powerful webcam software!
EvoCam 3.6.2 adds support for more network cameras, and fixes several bugs affecting application stability. EvoCam 3.6.2 is $30, and is a free upgrade for registered users of EvoCam 3.2 or later. Registered users of EvoCam 3.1 or earlier can upgrade for $10.
EvoCam 3.6.2 requires Mac OS X 10.4 (or higher) and QuickTime 7.0 (or higher). |

Evological has released EvoBarcode 1.1, a unique product which allows you to use your iSight camera as a barcode scanner with any application.
Using advanced image processing techniques, EvoBarcode recognizes barcodes from your iSight and instantly sends them to the frontmost application. It can also send scanned barcodes to the Clipboard, or to an AppleScript, allowing you to integrate EvoBarcode with existing software solutions.
EvoBarcode 1.1 adds support for Code 39, Code 128, Codabar and Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode symbologies, and also support for 2 or 5 digit UPC-A and EAN-13 extensions. Other enhancements include the ability to adjust iSight manual focus while scanning, take snapshots, and choose whether to append a tab, enter or return character when sending barcodes to applications.
EvoBarcode 1.1 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later. |
